The general environment in remote and underdeveloped regions of the world and emerging markets is often complex and presenting significant health and safety risks for those living and working there. International travellers and expatriates experience the most risk when they become ill in these environments. There is comfort in knowing that developed world standards of medical care can be provided 24/7 by professionals with extensive training and experience in tropical and remote area medicine, trauma and primary health and emergency care.

Unity has provided medical personnel and medical services in high-risk and challenging environments for the past decade. Our successes are due to our ability to work within prevailing social and cultural mores with both sensitivity and respect; coupling the knowledge and experience of our local staff with our expertise in delivering international standards of medical service.

Unity has developed a well-established supply chain through the support of our Logistics Services Division and is able to provide comprehensive support globally which ensure a quality of pharmaceuticals and non consumable medical supplies.

We have empathy and understanding for multiple cultures and operational environments gained from providing medical care to over three thousand clients globally, including managing over 50 medivacs a year.

We continue to support our clients’ needs by ensuring our medical centres are offered at developed world standards; where there previously were none. Our facilities range from ‘clinic in a bag’ services, to temporary medical clinics, travelling medics or up to a full level 2 and 3 critical care hospitals with pathology labs and other critical medical services.

Unity’s medical professionals are experienced in preventative medicine, health reviews, audits, assessments and training, advanced cardiac life support, intensive and critical care, accident and trauma, rehabilitation, back to work programs, facilitating medical evacuation and medical care oversight.

Our medical offering also dovetails with Unity Aviation Services and our aviation partners for the conduct of medical evacuation services.
