Code of Conduct

Unity has been involved in providing input in the new International Code of Conduct (ICoC); a Swiss Government led initiative. Unity is a signatory to this Code which means we are committed to fulfilling the humanitarian responsibilities towards, all those affected by our business activities.

Unity’s own Code of Conduct clearly embraces and reflect good industry practices as discussed in emerging doctrine such as International Code of Conduct, the Montreux Document (released by the UN in 2008 (UN A/63/467-S2008/636)) and the International Stability Operations Association (ISOA)

Unity’s Code of Conduct, policies and formal training have been constantly updated to reflect best industry practices and our experience. All employees, contractors and sub-contractors are required to sign and abide by the Code of Conduct and receive formal training and orientation with respect to the Code at initial induction.

Unity is a participant in the UN Global Compact reflecting our commitment to aligning operations and strategies with universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.
