Putting the Unity in Community
Unity is well aware of the affect that Companies' activities may have on local communities; we recognise the value of engaging with civil society and host and home governments to contribute to the welfare of the local community while mitigating any potential for conflict where possible.

'Putting the Unity in CommUnity’ is Unity Resources Group’s new global Indigenous and local employment strategy that aims to promote the development and growth of local industry through increase indigenous employment, training and career development opportunities across its worldwide operations.
We strive to ensure better income distribution on our projects to see our local national staffs earn higher salaries with the aim of distributing and keeping this money in the local economy. This policy benefits the local community, as well as the projects and clients.
Our promise:
To provide full, fair and reasonable opportunity for local industry to contribute to client projects and maximise local industry participation where it is capable and competitive on the basis of health, safety and environment, quality, cost and delivery.
Indigenous Affairs Management Policy
Unity Resources Group provides cultural situational awareness training to all non-indigenous staff regardless of where they work in the world. Situation Awareness is a significant capability and essential when high expectations are placed on Unity staff who work in post-disaster, remote communities, areas of civil conflict and regionally complex environments
Internally, Unity promotes and supports greater cross-cultural awareness within and between the Company and indigenous individuals, working groups and communities. It is focussed on developing and maintaining relationships with key indigenous organisations and other relevant groups and kindred organisations.
